Amazing place, and somewhere I'd highly recommend visiting if you can. I went out on X-Pilot as part of their forts tour, which was fascinating. What makes this better is the fact that there's a team of volunteers who are dedicated to getting one of the towers back to it's original state.

Lovely place to to visit on the X-Pilot classic pilot boat lovely crew and company.
Really fun tour, comfortable boat with free tea and coffee. Really knowledgable guides.
