We ordered a takeaway from Red Panda this evening as a birthday treat for myself and my partner who's birthday it is tomorrow. And after looking at the reviews, we decided to try it. And we are so very glad we did. The food is absolutely delicious, the sweet and sour prawns were superb, instead of the usual gloop, you get a delicious sauce, with a lovely bite of the sour that complimented the sweet. The Red Panda Special Crispy Honey Soya, oh my god, its like wrapping your tongue in flavours, I want that recipe, seriously, it's stunning. We ordered too much to define each and every dish here, but, everything from the special red panda combo to start was superb. And, it arrived piping hot by, a very polite gentleman who observed social distancing and wore a mask. And, it even turned up early. You can't knock the delicious food or the great service. Just ordered our first takeaway from Red Panda since moving here 19 months ago, and BOY, do we wish we'd done it sooner! We ordered online with delivery as it's lockdown and it was a birthday treat (also in person, they only take cash). The menu is MASSIVE and took a while to choose, with some unusual items and flavours, definately a lot different to any other takeaway we've ever used. The order was to take 40 minutes but in fact turned up within 30, the food was all hot, fresh and tasty. We had a few of our favourites plus a new one called Red Panda Special Crispy Honey Soya which was amazing . The honey soya is the sauce with crispy pieces of giant King prawns, chicken and pork in it. DELICIOUS! The whole meal was amazing and so much food that we will have it again tomorrow! The prices were average for Chinese but you do get loads of food and it's all so fresh and succulent, who cares?! We will definately absolutely use Red Panda again.
We visited with family who live locally and told us we had to try this place as was so good, they wernt wrong. They are lucky to be able to call this their local Chinese. We had the buffet menu, all the food was served super quick, piping hot and ridiculously tasty. Like really really tasty. Must try.
We have not been here for years and it was pretty awful last time but OMG what a transformation. Delicious food, freshly prepared and served nice and hot. Portions are huge for an average eater. Excellent service with the Take Away being ready on time. Everything was great. Highly recommend.
