Just finished my maritime basic fire fighting training in Plymouth, it was an amazing 2 days ! The course is absolutely perfect, every aspect is well covered and the chief instructor explains all of it very well, and all of this in a relaxed but professional atmosphere. The venue is in an active fire station so you are fully immersed and that's very important. Top of the range equipment: clothing, breathing apparatus... For the practical training there is a life size replica of a ship , with engine room, hatches, stairs... Every thing you could find on a real ship, and they set it on fire for us to go in fully equipped, to find casualties and fight the fire: a MUST !! To sum it up, like instructor Kevin says : HAPPY DAYS !!

A great couple of days on the Red One Water Safety and Rescue Course. John and the team were very professional and assessed our needs and ability well and delivered a great practical day on the River Dart. All the team, including came back to me to say what a valuable course and that they really enjoyed it!
