Beautiful Tudor period building, tastefully furnished and surprisingly light inside. Service was very friendly, food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. There was also reasonable variety of menu options for the vegetarian palate.

We love to eat out! We had lunch here after a recomendation from a friend. The service was good and so was the food but the portions are very small and very over priced, especially the cheese board. We enjoyed the food, but it wasn't worth the money. More of a special occasion venue than a lunchtime meal out.

I have nothing but lovely things to say about the Red Lion. What a beautiful addition to Soham and the surrounding area. A proper country pub, gorgeous inside and out, and the food is outstanding. Even I, a difficult vegan, was accommodated for with a superb starter and main. In particular the wild mushrooms on toast was delightful. My visit recently was just before Christmas. It had such a cosy and festive atmosphere! I can't wait to return in the summer months and sit in the garden.

Very pleasant, food was tasty with an interesting menu. Service was a bit slow. But I would definitely go back to try different dishes from the menu. Covid safety was great.
