Stopped off at this place while cycling and was welcomed with open arms ! Wow. What a place, landlord was welcoming offering me free pork pies, great feel to the pub, fire, great beers, well priced pint. Great locals as well wanting to talk to you ! Probably due to the quintessential British feel to the pub, yeah can't speak highly enough about this place. We will be back. Probably today ......
Brilliant pub. Arranged for a group of walkers to call in for a lunch stop. Very hospitable landlord and friendly locals. Free roast potatoes, reasonably priced drinks. I’d struggle to criticise any aspect of this little gem.
