Good choice of food on the menu and delicious too. Attentive, friendly and polite staff. Well worth a visit.

Popped in for a quick pit stop drink on our way home and was abused by a rude arrogant nasty landlady and landlord. One of our mates had to go back to the car for a mask and for some reason they took it upon themselves to cause trouble. Obviously dont like strangers in there grotty little pub. Do not use! Under any circumstances.

The new couple who have taken over the RL a few months ago are really getting it right IMO. I have been for food about 6 times for various lunch and dinners and it is always spot on. The Chef is not trying too hard but whatever he serves is cooked and presented really well. The Date Night on a thursday is the best value deal anywhere locally and once again last night I had the steak and my wife had the Salmon Salad Nicoise and both were simply excellent! 30 for two main meals including a bottle of (decent) wine is exceptional. Also worth noting that they have done up the front and rear gardens ,the Fullers beers is in superb order and the welcome is very friendly. HArd to fault as a great local!
