Lovely place to eat. Will definitely come back. Service was spot on, very friendly staff. Cleanliness on point Pub safe track and trace all perfect. Food was amazing.

We were visiting our Son, the Red Lion is nearby and this is our fourth visit. We entered the restaurant and was made aware of the Covid rules. We sat in the Tudor room and loved the quirky Atmosphere. The service was excellent, the food was excellent. My son and Husbands steak were a little undercooked for their liking, but this was rectified without fuss. My Chicken was perfect. We will be back hopefully in more safer times.
Great olde worlde pub and lovely accommodation, stayed 2 nights. Food was superb and staff were friendly and helpful. Loved it.
Shame really bit of a long winded procedure when you want to sit and have 1 drink in the garden ( not there fault covid protocol ) but then to be told to take a seat in the garden and someone would be with you.after approx 10 min we had to go in and remind them that we were waiting . Order was taken and drinks arrived when trying to pay to be told you have to go back in to the bar to pay. No Hand held card device !!! . On leaving I left to go to the car my wife went in to pay she heard the waitress who was serving outside shout across the pub that table 57 was walking off I assume she though we were doing a runner. It all made popping in for a quick pint in the sunny garden feel like a chore .
A really nice place to visit, on entering the staff are helpful, explaining the covid layout, the tables well set out, plenty of social distance, an excellent menu, with a good kids one, food is also excellent, and the table service, is friendly, was very impressed
