Beautiful building and location, responsive and responsible owners, attentive staff and excellent food. Nothing fancy, just hearty and delicious- just what a pub should be. Beer range a little underwhelming, but appreciate the challenges Covid brings to this. What was there tasted good.

We booked a table for six for Sunday Lunch, and it was a treat from start to finish. Attentive, friendly staff, and a great menu - not all of us wanted a traditional roast and there were plenty of alternatives. The rarebit starter was a highlight. A lovely, cosy atmosphere - we will be back.
