Honestly the absolute worst. I was promised a door a year ago, and a vent cover for the washroom, still nothing. They didn’t do a walk through with me or my girlfriend when we first moved in. My vehicle has been broken into 8 times this summer. Some stuff just got stolen from our front lawn, as I went inside to grab a screw that fell off our mini fridge. They are making us pay 1589 and are jacking the price up to 1699 for renewal. DO NOT MOVE HERE! They have done absolutely nothing. They will not hire more security they won’t put in Cameras to watch each lot. Worst neighbourhood and worst company to rent from. I’ll go live down town for 500 if I wanted to constantly have to watch my vehicle at night.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Do not even attempt to rent from this company. The boardwalk employee \Merna\ told me when my family applied for a place that if we were denied for any reason that I would be able to get the security deposit refunded back onto my debit card, we were denied and upon going to get my money back my father was told it is company policy that their office in Edmonton sends the refunded security deposits as cheques via the mail. This is incredibly unacceptable as I needed that money back to apply for a different place(When I applied I was assured it would be easy to get my money refunded). I have never had to deal with such an unprofessional company. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that you avoid boardwalk like the plague. If the \cheque\ they supposedly sent out isnt in my hand by tuesday next week I will be taking whatever legal action possible.
This company is very interesting. At first they offer reasonable price for rent. But if you want to continue living there they bump up the price!! My advice is not to choose this company if you don't want to move out in a year (because the new given price will make you to). But if you are looking for a place for a year, deal you'll get is not the worst. My situation is exactly how I described. When we moved in a year ago we got a good deal, but now we are forced out with a new absolutely unseasonable price.
It saddens me that the reviews are so bad here. We personally have had no issues living here the past two years. If there is ever an issue, Boardwalk is right there to help us.
