I had a great experience dealing with Nikki at fairstone financial. Everything was done professionally and discretely.
Just received a personally addressed loan offer through the mail. I'm not sure how they got my name and address, but I definitely can't trust an organization that purchases information like that from other places. Predatory practices like this are huge red flags that an organization like Fairstone can't be trusted.
Got a loan from this company years go, was still paying on it 6 years later. The interest was so high that I was never going to get out of it and ended up having to go into a consumer proposal to get out of this loan. All my information was sent off to Fairstone stating that I was letting another company take over and they were still reporting delinquent to my credit bureau which was damaging my score. I called head office and the representative I talked to did not understand what I was asking him and was not willing to help me. I had to explain to him 3 times what I needed and he was still reluctant to help me. When I asked to speak to someone else that might know what I’m looking for he said that there was no one there, and then they were in a meeting. After putting me on hold he told me that I had to wait until my proposal was done to do anything, or I could give him my sin number over the phone. When I told him that his website states not to give any personal information out over the phone he then told me that he can’t help me without it. I’m trying to help my credit not destroy it. I do not recommend this company at all. They will destroy your credit and financial situation. Worst experience of my life, they just take advantage of people who need help and milk them for the rest of their lives. They were ok in the beginning but once you sign those papers, you’ve pretty much dug a hole you cannot get out of.
Whoever answered was rude and asked me why I called there and hung up on me. And I tried another number to talk about my account and arguing with that woman because she was rude too. I needed help and all I got was rudeness n being hung up on
