When my husband and I were planning our wedding (before covid) a wedding planner was the farthest thing from our budget. Due to covid we decided to elope which freed up money for things we didn’t consider before. If I had to go back and plan a big wedding... I would MAKE room financially to be able to have Darcie on our big day. She was absolutely incredible! She took my short notice and all my visions and made them into the most amazing elopement. When I say I had zero stress on our big day.. I mean I had ZERO stress. This woman is insane in the best way. She takes care of literally everything and manages to also remember the small details that most people forget about. Not only was she present through email and text all the time while planning, she also contacted me a month or two after the wedding to make sure I was happy with my photos and how everything had turned out. One thing I was worried about was her being supper uptight because of having to plan literally everything, but I’ve honestly made a friend out of this whole experience. She is so down to earth and I will never stop recommending her to my friends and to strangers. 15/10 - absolutely worth the extra money. So if your unsure if you want a planner... trust me you want Darcie!

We hired Darcie as our wedding planner, and it was the BEST investment we made. My husband was skeptical at first, but even he agrees it was the best thing we did. Darcie is the most genuinely sweet, enthusiastic and knowledgeable person about everything weddings we could possibly have asked for. We are two busy professionals, I have NO eye for decor/fashion (I cried in the pillow aisle at Homesense, it was overwhelming) and we were relatively new to the Red Deer area. Darcie not only got to know us and what we wanted in our wedding, but also helped us get the most out of our budget and focus on enjoying our engagement and wedding as her and her team handled both set up and take down. As most of our family/friends were coming from out of town, I cannot tell you how lovely it was to NOT have to shut the party down early or have them worry about helping and just have a great time. Darcie provided invaluable expertise and opinion in everything from venue, menu, decor, transport, flowers and her relationships with vendors SAVED us money. She was also excellent about making sure WE respected our own budget, which as it gets closer and you're already spending so much money already, it was really easy to get carried away (and I'm usually very diligent). Darcie invested SO MUCH TIME in us, our vision for our wedding day, and our wedding itself, and was so positive, enthusiastic and lovely the entire time, that I cannot recommend her enough to ANY couple getting married.
I have worked with Darcie on many different weddings. She is warm, friendly, and has a great sense of humor (very important when it comes to keeping stress levels low when planning a wedding). She is also an unstoppable force with incredible energy and vision! Truly an invested professional.
Darcie is one of the kindest, most creative and talented event coordinators/ designers in the area. I have worked with her as a fellow vendor and she is completely personable and professional at the same time. She is someone who you can definitely trust to plan and execute amazing events. Darcie designed and created my dream wedding! From the first meet, it was like she was able to crawl in to my brain and pull out exactly what I wanted. From the smallest of details to the overall vision, Darcie is a true master of her craft! To say I highly recommend her is an understatement!
