As I typically choose to shop local I figured Eecol would be a good place to start. My mistake. I felt like I inconvenienced the parts/sales counter with my inquires looking for fairly standard electrical supplies. I did not know EXACTLY what I needed but I would not make the mistake again expecting even a modest inclination of help here. I found better service down the road, and service elsewhere that didn't mind giving me the time of day.

Go here for work sometimes. Staff seem helpful (Vanessa) and did some digging for me about sourcing some lights. Overall I would recommend.
All the staff there are extraordinarily helpful and are always happy to help. The young fella there at the front answered all my questions and got me all the material I needed for my home project.
Been to this place 2 times and won't go back. I rarely write reviews but felt like I needed to share this. So first experience was good. Second experience was awful and uncomfortable. The young man taking my order was not helpful and was visibily showing me how upset he was that I didn't buy a stick of conduit by taking it and throwing it behind the counter. When it came time to pay he was rude and didn't believe me that I got a contractors discount, he felt so strongly about this that I had to insist on speaking to the manager. He decide after searching through the computer at 100 words per minute that fine, I guess I'll give you the contractors rate. Meanwhile, there's a line of quietly waiting customers listening in. I get service like this at a carnival not when I'm spending thousands of dollars.
Always some friendly faces, almost always have everything I need or can find a way to get it.
