The washrooms at Red Deer's northern most A&W are shared with an On-The-Run fuel and carwash facility. Neither group is properly managing the washrooms. I used the one at the end of the hall and the toilet was loose and swiveling on the floor. I alerted the cashier in On-The-Run and he told me the maintenance person was aware of the problem but had NOT bothered to fix it. I then alerted the A&W personnel and told them that I would NOT be eating there until the toilet is fixed. Not only is it unsanitary, it is dangerous. If someone heavy sits down hard on that toilet, it could tip and cause injuries! Have you no regard for your customers?

Yeah, they've never been straight honest with their hours. I just came back from walking to there, time of writing is now 10:58pm. I got there at 10:30, a half hour before they were supposed to close. I'd say plenty of time to service one customer or two. Doors were locked, but lights and everything else was on. So they either can't write down their hours properly on this service(google maps), or the closing staff are lazy and closed early for an easier time. As though serving a couple of final customers at the end of the day is that much trouble. Not the first time I've dealt with this. I just got some money and wanted some fine a&w food before they closed, and again I say I believe I made enough time for a visit before closing to be reasonable using the hours of operation provided by Google Maps. Is that so much to ask for? Well, in conclusion, don't get there too early or too late. They won't be open when they should be, inviting only disappointment. Food is great though. Suppose that's why I'm upset now; that I couldn't have some tonight and I'm hungry.
The service was excellent! The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and pretty much everything in store. The food was good, maintained the standard of an A&W. It was well maintained and organized. I'd call it a standard A&W store.
Used to be a great location, now the service is slow, employees are rude, and they overcharged me on my final visit. Go anywhere else.
Waited for a long time in drive through. I was the only customer in drive through and walk in was closed. With that being said I have to also say that it was the best mama burger combo I have ever had. The burger was assembled with perfection and the fries were fresh and hot. After I finished my meal out on the parking lot I went through the drive through again just to compliment the guy who made my burger combo I'll definitely make that my A&W of choice from now on.
