I paid to have my HDMI ports reattached as 1 had come off and the others were loose after 5 years. He told me the manufacturer (LG) does poor soldering but his will last much longer. Within a year the one port completely let go again and fell in to the TV. He told me I would have to pay again as he only has 30 day warranty on his work. I am not hard on the connections and very rarely unplug them. Simply the weight of the HDMI cable being occasionally shifted caused his soldering to fail. I would not recommend using him because if this.
