This was the go to stop in red deer when we would go through due to the sales they always had on liquor. Well anyways as we went to it more often we realised it wasn't as much or even being more than what we usually spent. The store is clean but the service is terrible as the clerk always needs to maintain the till. Would be nice to have 2 employees working at once. If you need liquor and it is a must go here otherwise another place will be much better :)

NEVER had a bad exp. buying there. No hobos, no lazy service, no lack of what I wanted to get, always open, never once a differed price. Guy and his wife always greet with the respect a customer deserves. 12/10 service . Hands down.

I have been going here for years and I can say that there is so much to choose from it’s wonderful. I haven’t had any bad experiences with the staff. In fact I want to call one of them out, his name is himmat. He is very welcoming and will help out as much as possible. I notice most of the staff are from other countries but I appreciate the effort they put in. -John Adams

First and last time I will go in this store. I purchased a case of Molson Canadian. Took it home, opened the box, and started to put the beer in the fridge. When I got to the second layer I found one can had been punctured at sometime. No smell or stain of beer in can or box so might have been at brewery. As we were having company, I waited until the next day to take the can back to the store. I was going to the restaurant next door anyway so thought I might as well see what they would do. Well, they told me I should have brought the beer and the box back the day before when I found the empty can. I explained I had company and was not going to leave them to take back one can. They basically told me that the policy required me to bring back all the cans and the box. Well, as I had purchased the beer for company and they drank three cans, I now supposedly was out of luck. They told me there was nothing they would do. Poor customer service over one can of beer. I will make sure others know about this as well. I also sent an email to Solo Liquor head office. I guess they don't care as well as I haven't heard back from them. Too bad as they are opening a new store in the near future a couple of blocks away and we thought it would be real convenient. I guess we will just go to Co-op Liquor Store in Clearview instead.
