I had elbow surgery through w/c. Surgery went great. Dr chase was super nice and upfront about everything. His staff was super nice.

I would have to disagree with some of the other people. I had a great experience with Doc Chase, he explained everything in detail, have options and when the surgery was done, on a Thursday morning, I was up and walking (without a walker) by Saturday afternoon. I would say that was extraordinary for a complete knee replacement. It has been 5 years since then and no problems. When my other knee goes bad, and it is getting close, guess who I will go back too. The 'so called' rude doctor.

Dr. Chase's attitude is appalling. I took my grandmother to see him after an injury. He did not take her off one medication, which meant that her first surgery was a failure and had to be redone. Plus, he is without a doubt a rude, egotistical, misogynistic and unhelpful person. He did not listen to us and did not answer our questions because he was too busy complaining about one thing or another. He badmouthed other doctors, his staff, the hospital where my grandmother had her surgery, the physical therapist... In his mind, everything and everyone is out to get him. I've left every appointment shaking with anger. At one point he threw a dirty bandage at me. He is dismissive of his kind nursing staff, of me and my family, and worst of all my grandmother. She is very frail and having to deal with jerks like this is the last thing she needs. He refuses to answer any questions because he said that he doesn't understand why I would question his care, that I had no right to doubt that he was taking good care of her. I was told by my family to take a picture of her injury so that they could see if she was improving, and that made him angry and he gave me a lecture about how he should storm out of the office and refuse to continue care because I had no right to take a picture of my grandmother's injury. This is a small town, we don't have many options when it comes to doctors, which is why it is so disheartening that we have to continue to deal with this difficult jerk. His horrible attitude makes me distrust and dismiss anything he has to say. Thankfully this ordeal is almost over, and my grandmother is healing.

Thought Dr. Chase was honest. Wrong he performed a shoulder surgery for a w/c injury. The surgery failed he blamed me and then gave me bad advice which only benefited him. Now I have permanent pain and he is rich.

Bob Chase is a passable technician, a below average surgeon, and a terrible, terrible little man.
