Maxx Amidos do Brasil is a starch producer located at Araripina, city on the interior of Pernambuco, state on the north-east part of Brazil. The starch to be produced is made of cassava, most known as tapioca. The plant is brand new and made of most advanced technology of it's kind in Brazil. Has 600 ton capacity, allthough 200 ton for the crop 2009-2010 and a property of 4,000 hectares to support the development of it's own crop. Due to it's importance for the region the project has the support of local, state and federal government.
