Visited for the first time and can't believe we haven't been here before. Oh my days. Everything was perfect. Staff, food, cocktails and safety. Can't wait for you to reopen so we can come again

Visited Sept 2020 during covid pandemic. What a fabulous place a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of other villages which have become famous for their celebrity owners.... Firstly the staff...they were exceptional. Helpful, attentive and professional at all times. Nothing was too much trouble, I swear if I'd asked them to move the moon so I could get a better view of it, they'd have obliged. Secondly the ambience of the building was lovely and sooo comfortable. And lastly the food...(sorry vegetarians) but I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, words cannot describe the taste of the succulent juices running amok on my taste buds as each tender mouthful was eaten. I've eaten food in some of the best restaurants around the capital cities of the world and non has been as tasty and better cooked than this. Every item was delicious. Great staff, great food, great ambiance, lovely location well worth paying a little extra for. Oh, parking is in the pay and display car park which is a such a short stroll from the restaurant it wouldn't be long enough to furnish a BBC sound effect.
Excellent from start to finish. Every course was top drawer but two things about the evening stood out. The apple tart dessert with almond brittle was amazing. Secondly, the service was quite superb. The young lady on reception also served us and was outstanding. Great job. We'll definitely return.
Great place and fantastic staff. Not sure of the ladies name that served us but she was brilliant. Had a laugh and full of moonshine knowledge. Defo be coming back!!
Always have a night here whenever we are Newquay and we are never disappointed. Great staff, great service, great drinks selection and cocktails and awesome food and very well controlled withe the current Covid restrictions what more could you want. Be sure to book at table though.
