Here at Real Italian Gusto we love to expose patrons to authentic Italian food and dining customs. It will be just like coming to Italy if you enter our shop, which is exactly our goal. Great food and really nice people. Felt very comfortable eating inside. I went with my boyfriend but Tables are big enough that I would feel comfortable sitting across from a friend (outside of my household). Will definitely go back and/or order take out

The artichokes wrapped in prosciutto are delicious!! They have this balsamic vinegar imported from Italy that is unlike any vinegar I've ever had; so incredibly sweet and paired perfectly with the smooth olive oil to dip my bread. I wanted to keep things light so I havent tried the bigger portions (pastas or pizzas) - guess it's a reason to return soon!

We are Ercole and Marian originally from Rome, Italy, currently living in Toronto, Canada. We were in Boston to run in the marathon, on April 15, 2019. We had asked some Italian friends from Harvard University to tip us on genuine Italian (that is, NO Chicken Parmesan and/or Spaghetti and Meat Balls - which, as any Italian knows, are NOT to be found on any menu anywhere in Italy - on the menu) restaurants in the area, and Real Italian Gusto in Medford topped their list. So on Saturday, April 13, 2019, we had one of our rare GENUINE Italian meal in North America. We met Francesca and Matteo, the Italian owners, who explained to us their wish to have their patrons enjoy their meals \As if they were dinner guests in an Italian home in Italy.\ That is precisely how my wife and I felt throughout our lovely evening at Francesca and Matteo's Real Italian Gusto restaurant in Medford, Ma. GRAZIE AMICI!!!!!, e ARRIVEDERCI a Boston/Medford.

Real Gusto has become our favorite takeout restaurant. Everything is fresh and tasty!! Never disappointed. My husband said he will not eat any other pizza, except Emilia. The pasta dishes are terrific!! Ingredients are always so fresh. So happy to support a local restaurant. Highly recommended!!
