This is unquestionably the finest craft beer shop in the universe, let alone London. They have an incredible range of the absolute best beers, wines and spirits around and only get in the most premium products available. The wonderfully welcoming staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and will expertly guide everyone from complete novices to barrel-aged stout obsessives towards the perfect choice for them. I feel privileged to have been sampling their wares for well over a decade and am looking forward to continuing to do so. They really worked their socks off during lockdown to ensure the local community still had an outstanding service and continue to ensure everybody's safety through their well defined measures currently in place. Cheers!

“A convenience store where you pay a premium for inconvenience.” One beautiful evening, taking a leisurely stroll about my local area, as I have many times over the years. I thought why not go in and buy some exotic beers. The young chap, jumped up from behind his smartphone, swiftly put on a mask to protect himself from the evil covid. He was unhappy to see me, maybe I hadn’t interrupted his Netflix it was just close to closing time. He did seem rather extraordinarily annoyed I’d had the indecency to come in to the shop. There weren’t any other customers there... Not to worry, I wasn’t there to make friends. I chose a few beers, placed them on the counter and presented a note. ‘No cash, company policy’. I didn’t have cards on me so said thank you and returned the bottles to the fridge. I rhetorically but politely said ‘your policy loses you business’, and he said ‘not really’. As I left the store, a customer who did not buy, will never buy and will encourage others not to. Edit 3rd Sep. The ‘blame the customer’ response proves my point. Also the retailer never replied to my email.
