Best Greek Restaurant you will ever find. Food has always been cooked to perfection. Cakes are a MUST DEFINITELY. Variety of different meals, freshly cooked. kids enjoyed their food every single time we went there. (always first choice for a family dinner) . Staff very friendly and polite. They make us feel like home. Especially Ketty has always a beautiful smile on her face, very kind hearted person. Very Clean, tidy, Ideal Restaurant
We found a little bit of home! The aromas! The flavours! Coming from a Cypriot background, going to Spitiko is like being a kid in my dads kitchen. We have been three times in 10 days, such is the allure of the dishes. Katie, the owner is a gracious host in these trying times and I expect to be there at least twice a month, if not more often! That's how comfortable it feels to visit this little piece of the Mediterranean. I highly recommend this eatery.
Really enjoyed the traditional meat meze from Kyrenia. The dips to start were all excellent and we both enjoyed various meat dishes that followed. Would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for somewhere to eat out in Caversham.
So good we went twice in the same week - once to the restaurant itself to celebrate my husband’s birthday with our kids and again for a takeaway 2 days later as the kids loved it so much. Highly recommend (particularly the prawns, calamari and baklava!)
I ate here for my friends birthday one time. I can still taste the authentic and exquisite Greek food that I had eaten. The potatoes were exceptional along with the lamb, which was cooked with high skill and passion.
Great beginning. Great middle. Great end. Best Greek food ever! We went way too strong on the starters and didn't regret a thing.
Just what Caversham needed. Brilliant, authentic Greek food with an amazing service and great atmosphere. It reminds us just like being on holiday in Greece. Unfortunately due to the current situation we haven't been able to go in as often as we used to but luckily they do take aways, which we enjoy very much.
