I had such a great experience with Sixt Reading. Very friendly, extremely professional - and gave me a welcomed upgrade when the car I wanted wasn't available. I subsequently increased my hire from an intial week to 3.5 weeks - so there flexibility was a smart move. The Sixt app is also super easy to change/extend bookings - so I would always choose Sixt first over (even cheaper) competitors.

Matt D pinned a scratch on front driver alloy on me but I had photo proving it was old. Photo of passenger front alloy damage all round rim but Matt failed to even list on my contract. Pinned imperceptible dent on rear passenger door on me, my photo included only part of door. IT WAS NOT ME WHO DENTED REAR DOOR, HE FAILED TO RECORD IT.
Great experience with Sixt Reading. Even during the pandemic their office was quite busy (which is good sign). Booked the Lucky Dip category and got an Intermediate/Full-size estate. The staff was very friendly. A couple of comments if I had to give some critics. I've been proposed several options and a GPS while the car was already equipped with one. And I've been proposed another car with Automatic gearbox (at an extra charge) while I would have preferred the choice with another car available car (not necessarily same category) for the same cost since I picked this lucky dip category. Also, the car had a scratch on the mirror which was not recorded on the system (while some others were). So I had to signal it. But overall very happy hence 5 stars.
Sixt in Reading were very polite and helpful when I needed to change my preservation. I rented a bmw 1 series for 4 days. Also had no issues with my deposit as this was released promptly. I’d definitely use this branch again.
Highly recommended, great helpful staff, great price (15% cheaper than alternatives) and a brand new van.
