Halfway through January lockdown and my sewing machine seized and completely stopped working. Thank goodness for Sew Devine who were still taking servicing and repair jobs. They even picked up and dropped off my machine when I mentioned not needing to know about the car park as I dont drive. Superb service, highly recommended.

I had such a wonderful experience at this shop, I called 5 minutes before closing time and they kept the shop open until I got there and helped me. I was looking for a specific overlocker that was sold out everywhere else (3-6week delay) and they had it in stock. They also had all the extras that I needed: threads and needles. The shop is full of everything you would need for sewing and ALL THE MACHINES... sewing, overlocker and embroidery machines. I was offered lessons on how to use my new overlocker. And there is parking behind the shop.

I went to buy a second hand sewing machine and had a wonderful experience! They listened to my requirements and made a great recommendation, then gave a demonstration of the machine's capabilities and took the time to show me how to use it. They really know their stuff and were able to answer all my questions. They personally helped me find the foot I needed for the new machine and said they were available to help in the future if I have problems. Excellent customer service from real experts!

Took my vintage hand crank in( Made in the far east/copy of a Singer 15K) as a part had worked loose and then fallen inside the machine jamming the movement. Without a moment's hesitation , the machine was on a bench and sorted out within 10 minutes!(Also getting some expert advise on how to get the best of the machine as I am a beginner).I then had great fun buying some sewing supplies and to my delight found they also had some vintage attachments that would fit my machine! Golly such amazing help and well stocked shop made me so happy!! Loved too the display of old machines on shelves above the many new machines on sale(Excellent price range & selection). Thank you Mr Devine & Ian

I can really recommend this sewing supply shop. It's a family run business and the service is just fantastic. They will sit down with you and give you instructions and tips when buying sewing machines. They do part exchange. They repair and service sewing machines. You really can trust those guys as they know what they are doing. They are very friendly and help you with all your sewing needs. Parking is free behind the shop, you just have to walk around the building to enter the store on the front. They match prices and also have a huge range of second hand machines. Much better experience and value than buying online.
