Have been here on several occasions and never had a bad visit. Great atmosphere, amazing food, good service, friendly staff, huge range of cocktails and craft beers. What's not to like. The staff are friendly and will recommend drinks if asked and if you tell them what you like. Have been for lunch and drinks, dinner and drinks, just drinks, live music and cult movie club and recommend all. It isn't the cheapest place in Reading but it is worth it for hand crafted cocktails and freshly cooked food.

The staff certainly know their hipster beers and the ridiculously named cocktails are to die for. Despite the open brickwork and internal signage, it hasn't gone full hipster, thank god. The tables and seats are all very sensible. Some food is served on actual plates and the rest is on platters that are quite suitable for the food being served. The food itself is a fine example of the "fancy burger joint" variety. The pulled pork burger in particular is just marvellous.
Interesting selection of cocktails, at fairly average prices. If you go in a group, be sure to watch them make your cocktail as they seem to put a lot of effort into making them. Try the chilli, it's absolutely delicious! Good atmosphere and probably the friendliest bouncers in Reading!
Having eaten at RYND numerous times and always enjoyed their food I can honestly say that I have no interest in EVER going back there… Decided to order their burgers and nachos which we have had before and one was under cooked and dry and missing bacon and then our nachos which were supposed to come with pulled pork were just normal nachos yet they still charged us 3.00 extra for it… Upon speaking to the manager he tried to act like there was never any bacon in the burger and he seemed pretty clueless on what to do as a resolution even after pointing out that there was meant to be bacon in the burger. Completely appalled by the state of the food and the service… and to top it all off I am not feeling well at all! Avoid at all costs, Mcdonalds could give you a better burger!
Seriously overpriced drinks in a venue that's trying to be a type of rustic American bar. Food can be good but it's also pricey. Better options nearby.
Food was a disappointment, the bar was really busy and takes ages to be served. The place seems to be more worried with being "hip" than good; with the one of the bar staff proclaiming "I am Tom Cruise" I think it proves that sometimes just because it seems the part doesn't mean it'll live up to expectations.
Good big bar, good tasty cocktail, price OK. happy hours are good! just wished that the staff would wash their hands when they've been out smoking, when making drinks :(
