I went to REI for the first time since the 90's to buy a pair of nice hiking boots... its still the same great place... very helpful staff and an unmatched selection. They even have a one year return policy if the boots don't work... even if you have hiked in them.

Amazing place. Their garage sale is cool. Super helpful staff. So many items to choose from. If you’re an outdoorsy person, then this place is for you. Easy returns. Huge inventory. I go to REI at least once a month sometimes more. You owe it to yourself to check them out. You will not leave empty handed I guarantee it.

Gene in the roof rack bike area couldn't have been more helpful as I had to trade out my rack system as I had a new car with a new rack on it. He gave me choices and comparisons so I was able to make an informed decision .
