I've been treated by Vikki at Reading Osteopaths for a variety of sporting injuries over the years, as has my wife. We've always had excellent care - very responsive with the initial assessment, effective treatment and good longer term rehabilitation. I love the acupuncture - apart from it being an enjoyable, relaxing and sleepy(!) experience, it seems to have a very positive effect on my healing. Vikki is such a lovely, chatty person too - she makes the whole experience very enjoyable.

I have been a patient of Vikki's for several years. She is friendly and put me at my ease immediately, she always listens carefully in order to understand fully the issues that need to be worked on. She delivers first class treatment, always explaining what she proposes to do before she begins. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Have recently attended the clinic after recommendations and strong reviews via Google, for treatment and advice on a longstanding lower back problem. The clinic was clean, and the clinician was very friendly, however I would strongly recommend that if anybody is thinking of attending, they call first and discuss whether it's the right course of treatment for them. Unfortunately, I found the approach to be ineffective, with a predominant focus on the psychological impact of Covid (when this was clearly stated to not be a problem). A lot of the advice echoed that of yoga or pilates instructors over the years, and due to the \stress of Covid\, more intensive and traditional osteopathic treatments were said to be not suitable and wouldn't be considered. The preamble meant that by the time it came to actually performing any treatment or learning stretches that may benefit me, we were already running over time, and the two rushed stretches were ineffective. I felt led to believe that this was due to my inability to understand the mindful-premise of her instructions. I was also concerned that my partner (attending for neck and shoulder pain) received exactly the same muscular explanation. This may very well be true, but it does strike me as strange. Am certain that for those seeking a holistic treatment, examining stressors and lifestyle advice, this would be very useful and she was a very open and friendly clinician. But I strongly recommend you call to discuss what you are expecting, as I received no treatment or use from my assessment and will be trying elsewhere.
