I was placed there last year. Had A therapist assigned to me who was horrible. Her make is Kim M. Instead of her being a therapist that assisted me in dealing with issues I was dealing with at that time, she added to my stress and confusion. That woman should lose her license, if she has one. Around the Project Transition community at the time it was rumored that she, Kim M was having inappropriate relations with one of her clients of which I ended up dating while there. I wouldn’t consider placing anyone they care about into this program if they’re actually seeking for them get better and healthier. There needs to be a complete revamping of staff, with the exception of maybe a few. In addition to their violations in creating a safe place to heal, it was a free for all. This place needs to get investigated by the insurance companies that pay for it to exist.

This program serves a purpose. I came from a 4 year stay to the program and they showed me much patience until they were forced by insurance to boot me. They helped me find a place quickly and even gave me a ride there. This program is necessary.

I wouldn't even rate this program due to the neglect they have given to my brother at the Project transition in Sinking Springs Pa. As far as I am concerned they are just throwing him under the bus so that they won't be liable for all the medications they have had him on and has caused a Chemical Imbalance in his brain. They know that he is going to fall flat on his face and all they are thinking of is themselves. He hasn't gotten the medical treatment he has needed in almost 3 years of the program. Then just 2 weeks ago they got confirmation from Sam's Program that my brother and his friend is eligible for 3 months of help with paying half the rent. While I appreciate the help with the Sam's He's not in a good area in Reading, Pa and this really concerns me. Shame on Project Transition for not keeping in touch with me on all his medicines or what they were planning on doing for him. My brother signed a paper for them to keep me informed and they haven't. Now they have had him sign a lease for a year with knowing he is illiterate and can't read and write or remember what he is suppose to do from 1 day to the next. They said last year he needed to be in an assisted living but yet now they believe he can do it on his own knowing he is going to fall flat on his face and end up homeless. Not to mention his roommate he will have and if my brother can't keep up on his rent then his roommate will be in trouble as well. My brother is on 17 different medications a day and they should feel ashamed of themselves. In the 3 years he has been there they have went through so many staff people and 3 Director's. Thanks project Transition for throwing my brother under the bus. I am so disgusted with your program!

I wouldn't put a loved one in this program they don't even deserve the one star. They let their clients do whatever they want to each other which doesn't help anyone. Should be shut down asap.
