I visited this store and it's absolutely lovely. The lady was so kind. Everything in this shop is operation friendly, you know exactly what you can or can't have. If you are gluten free/sugar free and halal there are sweets in here for you. Each item container has sticks so you can choice and not have to ask about each item. Loved it.

Best sweet shop in Reading with the most friendliest staff. I’ve been to Mr Simms several times since it’s been open and I’ve never left the store feeling unsatisfied. Thank you for doing an amazing job, the store itself and the staff are amazing!! I will 100% be returning!
I visited your store today, I realised that customer service and the business side of your job are not related at all, in two words bad service The girl who served me looks south Asian (Pakistani or INDIAN ) of origin and she was way far from delivering basics customer service I won't recommend your place to anyone, there is a lot of work you need to do So my advise to the rest of the nation is that you should never dream of getting a good customer service in that store I'll never visit your store again if you are not willing to apologise to me
Had the most amazing time here with the best ever customer service by Huma! 100% reccomend to anyone as it litterally has all the best sweet you'll ever want.
I visited this store a few weeks back and was greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome by the staff members. The lady who served me, Huma, was very cheerful and gave me recommendations for what I should buy as I was spoilt for choice! She did an amazing job as both the strawberry bon bons and the fudge were incredible. She definitely knows her stuff and did a fantastic job. A credit to the store. I will definitely recommend the Reading Mr Simms store to my family and friends.
