Although the Mill and house were closed, there were lovely walks through the woods. We came across a statue of Pan. Am not sure of the history behind it. Beautiful weather made it a lovely experience, but make sure that you wear boots with a good grip!

So beautiful here with amazing houses and manor and watermill. Steeped in history and where the eagle has landed was filmed years ago! Fab walk through miles of safe countryside to let your dogs run free safely along this footpath!
Great place to have a day out
Absolutely serene, this is the place where the movie: “Where the eagles dare” was shot!
Sadly the watermill cannot be visited now. Believe closed to the public for good
Beautiful watermill, i accessed it by canoe, is fantastic
