I want to sing Marcus Wenczek praises, when I first met him while viewing the flat I am currently living in he approached me in a friendly and genuine manner; he was not pushy in anyway shape or form. Unlike other letting agents that I had met throughout my property search. I instantly knew he was a good guy! He allowed me enough time to view the property and ask questions. He respected the two metre social distancing rule and kept his mask on throughout the viewing, I decided that I wanted to take the flat however had a few questions that I wanted to ask before I proceeded. He dealt with all the issues in a polite, courteous and timely fashion and has kept up communication throughout. Nothing is to much bother and he is always happy to help. He is an absolute asset to Hamlet and you could not have a better ‘face’ to your company. I want to say a massive thank you for making my move in as easy as possible and for helping resolve issues along the way! If you are looking for a genuine and trustworthy agent ask for Marcus!

WORST AGENCY in Reading, First they charge commission for every service, but their after service is very poor. They don't treat their customers nicely at all, Also once you check out the property they will charge plenty of amount randomly which is non deniable. They will charge you with check out charge, even if the room is clean they charge minimum of 50GBP. They will harass and take a lot of money once you check out. I paid 81GBP FOR THIS ATTACHED BELOW. THEY WILL CHARGE BUT THEY WILL NOT CLEAN OR PROVIDE THAT SERVICE TO THEIR NEXT CUSTOMER.
I didn't end up renting a room with Hamlet Homes but would like to say how helpful and professional Marcus Wenczek was! He showed me several lovely rooms and also showed me the local area, where local shops were and the quickest routes to get into Reading town centre. Many thanks for all your help.
Avoid this agency and the person Marcus Wenczek if you can ! I can not believe there are several post regarding he is a decent man,He is dishonest, untrusted, unprofessional, awful man. He must hire somebody to clear his bad reputation. They treat you very well during viewing, once the contract has been signed, they only care about the money. When my shower blocked, they told me to buy a unblock liquid and do it yourself. They charge everything for renewing contract etc. When i checked out, even the room is very clean and tidy, they still charge me 85 pounds which is unbelievable !
Hamlet Homes have been renting our shared houses for professionals for several years, and they have done an outstanding job during that time. It is one of the most difficult environments to work in, because there are so many demanding tenants and landlords. They keep calm, treat everyone with respect, have a strong desire for their customers to be happy, are responsive and always manage to turn a problem into a successful solution. They have got better and better at what they do, because they are always seeking to improve. As a landlord and property developer, I am extremely happy. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
