I used the pick and collect service. The website was very easy to usr indicating whether of not there was stock online and in the store. It went very well. There was a very small line. A member of staff was standing outside. She verified my identity and located my order quite quickly. It is annoying that you can't go inside the store but it is necessary during lockdown. The alternative worked well.

The only shop I really enjoy going to - not only because of the stuff they sell, but also because of the extremely friendly, professional and helpful (often Spanish!) staff.

On 11/1/21 my wife brought her bicycle into the Reading branch to have a new innertube installed on the rear wheel, and to purchase a spare inner tube. After she brought the bicycle home, she discovered that the gears didn’t work properly. Rather than bring her bike back to the store for questionable service, she brought the bike to where she purchased it in Oxford – a 44 mile round trip. The mechanic there informed her that the hub gear cable had been incorrectly re-installed when re-fitting the wheel. It appears that the staff in Reading are in need of further training or a discussion about the quality of their workmanship – either of which would necessitate some management action.

I am very amazed with the service. I did not expect such great customer service. I think that I will come back here more than once, even just to spend a good time with wonderful people like Michael from the cycling department. Great job !!!!
