Lovely artisan coffee shop. Atmosphere is very welcoming. Great place to come during the day for a decent coffee and food. I haven't been in the evening for a while but it is always busy when I go past. All the staff are friendly. Nice to be able to have coffee somewhere chilled and relaxed. This is the place I normally suggest going for coffee and beats the other chain coffee shops in the High Street hands down.

Really nice atmosphere and the food is AMAZING! Really recommend the toad in the hole sharer! Also great mochas and if you ask nicely they will put whatever pattern you want in the foam!
I have been here for coffee, meetings with friends or meetings for work. Great coffee and great food too. In the evening the cocktails are brilliant too. Must try place !
Good place to sit and enjoy a coffee in yown while reading a book. Coffee and snacks are good. Would prefer if it had just some soft background music.
Incredibly long waiting time (over 20 min since order. Just for coffees) We’ve got our coffees (just 3!) in 2 turns with long delay after first one to get last cappuccino. They weren’t serving food even that there wasn’t any information about it. It wasn’t any busy time as whole upstairs hall was almost empty. Definitely do not recommend!
I don't usually write reviews but wow this place deserves 5* all day long!! What a lovely change in the place, the food is amazing! Everything is so clean and fresh! Met a lovely guy that works there called Adrian. Service was spot on! I highly recommend *****
Excellent food and service; a touch of class and tranquility in the middle of Reading. Friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble, a great selection of teas and coffee too. My daughter and I went for breakfast in the morning and returned later in the day for cocktails. Will definitely be back.
Good coffee, albeit on the more expensive side, and pastries. Weekday afternoons are great for smaller groups like our new mums group as plenty of space upstairs, lift for prams, and a spacious changing room (accessible WC).
