Excellent soul food and owner is as great as his food!!! If you haven't had the fried chicken yet, you HAVE TO! Oh, and the mac-n-cheese! The pic is chicken, mac-n-cheese, collard greens and, of course, corn bread. Ya just can't get enough, though you probably can't eat it all, either! Pretty sure it's take-out only though. It's in an area that you most likely would think you don't want to be in, but trust me, it's worth it. They also participate with GrubHub and I believe delivery is only .99; another great option if you're wary.

Wow what a turn around. I ate at this place years ago and the food was salty. But today it was crispy crunchy flavorful goodness.

Beckett’s is a local gem. They serve the best soul food in town hands down. What makes this place top notch is that every order is made-to-order, so be prepared to wait 20-25 min for you fresh meal. The chicken breast is very juicy and tender. The greens are made perfectly, and the Mac and cheese is just out of this world. If you are looking for some fried chicken please don’t go to Popeyes or kfc and support this local establishment, because you will not be disappointed!
Mediocre food with a high price tag. I heard really good things about this place, but my experience wasn't so great. I went online and ordered some chicken, mac and cheese, and beans. Ended up getting some greens instead of the beans, but it wouldn't have been a big deal if the rest of the food was really good. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Both the chicken and mac and cheese were surprisingly average and unimpressive, especially given the price tag. Go to Giant and get some chicken and mac and cheese from their lunch line. You'll get better quality food, for less.
Best CRISPY wings you'll find around. You can eat the whole wing down to the bone. Finger licking good!
