I used Read Garage after getting a very high quote from a local Mercedes dealership. I requested a engine service with all the filters to be changed. The technician was very insightful with my car and the faults. After my service he gave my a list of all the items he felt needed some attention in the future. Top guys and booked in again for a transmission service. Very reasonable with prices and honest with their advice.

Avoid. Having read the good reviews on here I went along and tried to explain what was going on with one of my cars and got a response of 'You can tell me what's up with it but I won't remember' in between mouthfuls of sausage roll. This same sentiment was echoed by another mechanic who seemed even more uninterested in having the issue described to him. I walked away in disbelief. They weren't even willing to hear what the issue was. I expected basic professionalism and courtesy but was instead greeted with terrible attitudes and appalling customer service. Frankly, I'd rather pay the extra at a proper Mercedes specialist or dealership than deal with this garage. It is exactly the backstreet garage it appears to be. This is not the kind of place or people you should leave your car with.
