Straight forward enough. Wasn't too busy due to the booking system which they now have in place. It worked well! Made for an easy lunch time drop and my first time using this facility. The bins are clearly marked and there was a couple of guys hanging around if you needed to get confirmation on anything. All good!

Booking system is now working great, so managed to get a slot the day before. Was nicely managed and all COVID related distancing measures in place. As usual, staff were helpful so top marks all round.
Easy to book online or via the app. The guys (haven’t seen any women) working here are chilled. Friendly. Professional. There is a Sue Ryder charity section that accepts books/music CD’s etc. (some of today’s generation might not know what a CD is). Occasionally there will be the odd one who cannot be bothered to sort their recycle so tend to head for the general section with rubble/mortar in a box but the guys are friendly and simply ask e.g. is that cardboard box empty? If you haven’t seen it on the recycle list this place accepts: wood, metal, card and, glass as some of the most widely recycled items. Sometimes the place can stink to high heaven. Especially by the green waste. However, it’s all indoors/under cover so even when it’s raining you don’t need an excuse to not recycle! I am happy with the recent covid measures to book a slot. It doesn’t get too busy that way in my view. Before there used to be queues to the entrance and cars parked awkwardly but there is sufficient space. Not always where you might want it but if someone is around they might point you to where to park depending on what you are recycling. Thanks guys and keep up the hard work! Your smiles and humour in these tough times help a lot even from a distance!
Easy to book, many slots available even at short notice, helpful and polite staff and covid-compliant. Seems to be well managed.
Easy to book a slot on their website, need to book a week or so in advance! At the tip there is pretty much a place for whatever you want to get rid of.
