The app certainly makes a big difference here. No queues. For the price paid the food was good. Better than some similar establishments. I would recommend this establishment.

The burgers were as you normally get, consistently good. Fellow dinners had the mixed grill (with inedible steak), the gammon (which was 1/8 inch thick and overcooked) and the curry (the worst onion bhaji you have ever seen, it was flat and black). I believe my cider tasted not like any Magna's I have drunk before, can't comment on the other lads drinks! I know it's cheap but you still get some quality, surely. Most dissapointing Wetherspoons meal I have eaten.

It was curry night. Found seats straight away. Ordered 2 currys using the Wetherspoons app successfully. But had to wait an hour for the food even though it wasn't busy at the time. Curry was ok but the naan bread, samosas and onion bhajis had dried out to be almost inedible. They did offer complimentary drinks though.

Enjoyable Essex Wetherspoons! It's both cosy and comfortable. Food good and great value, same with drinks. Makes a great night out for an everyday evening... Staff friendly enough, but often it appears locals and regulars seems to get priority service, out of turn at the bar! (My only gripe!). Still a very good pub.
