Pros: 1. free parking 2. Speedy check-in (it took us only 2 minutes). 3. rather close to the Old Town (about 6 minutes' walk). Cons: 1. No air con in the room; it was very stuffy (during summer). I used the fan but it was really noisy with all the swiveling. 2. Noise from the car park. I opened the window to vent the room. Our room was on the third floor (odd number), facing the car park, so I was woken up by vehicles leaving at about 12-2am. 3. It was really crowded at breakfast buffet. Tips: 1. Ask for a room facing the canal (even number) and away from the construction going on next door. 2. Walk along the canal to go to Old Town; it was really pleasant.
Hotel is ok. Very nice personnel but very bad ventilation. Even with 10 degrees outside it was too hot in the room. And there is no possibility to open window. Dog friendly hotel :)
Central location. Pretty clean rooms. Helpful Staff. Very good breakfast buffet.
Room 203 smells like used socks. Wont disappear even the Windows is open for 3 days. After complain reception man offered me a bottel of Pepsi, not another room. Another 3 days to live with that smell. Year ago I had better room there, but now I hope I never have to stay there.
Cozy, basic Scandic with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel building's quite old and unclean, but all rooms are fully renovated! :)
The windows don't open and its stuffy in summer
Just renovated room is like brand new. Minus comes because of poor air. South side room is too warm in the evening after sunny day and there is no AC. Breakfast was okay but I was disappointed to restaurant. Small sallad and club sandwich didn't taste so good. I recommend small local restaurant like Sydvest for dinner.
