When we moved here a year ago we found the Ram's Pen and it was really good. But now we almost refuse to eat there. The cooks are always changing and with that the food is not very good anymore. Just recently we got chicken strips and when we got them home they were so hard that we couldn't eat them. Just last night tried again and my wife's food had hair in it.

Not many places to choose from in Rattan, but this little one has a lot of variety. The prices are reasonable and the portions are okay. The sweet tea and chocolate chip cookie slices hit the sweet spot too.
Frito chili pie was really good but, bring back the buffet !!
