A very Ginteresting afternoon We have just spent a wonderful time in the company of Matt & Liz at Rarebird Distillery, spending the afternoon at their gin school. We were greeted with a delightful rhubarb gin and a talk about the gin distilling and the various styles of gin. Then it was up stairs to the glass room with a glass of Matt's London dry gin where we got to create our own recipe and our own gin to take hope. There was plenty of quality control testing along the way. It was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon and will be recommending it to everyone I meet. Thanks Matt & Liz.

Had a great afternoon at Rare Bird Distillery with Matt and his team. A fantastic Micro Gin Distillery and Matt has a complete passion for what he is making. We spent the afternoon talking about Gin, making Gin and drinking Gin.... Can't get much better. Top tips, eat a hearty breakfast, book into a hotel overnight and enjoy the Gin!!

Had an incredibly fun afternoon on the gin making course here. The owners made us very welcome, furnishing us with regular G&Ts made from their beautiful product. The tour of their distillery and explanation of how they make their gin was fascinating and the gin making experience was great fun, with dozens of flavours and spices to pick from and your own bottle of home brew to take home. Definitely worth dropping in here even if just to sit and have a g&t and look out over the beautiful Yorkshire countryside from their panoramic window.
