Had dinner at West View restaurant. It is a quaint well maintained Hotel. The staff is very good but the food did not match the price being charged. For meals I recommend Rose Mount (located on a road oposite to West View). It serves excellent food at much lower prices and has a great ambience.

Perfect place for relaxing and spending some peaceful time. Beautiful campus, very friendly and helpful staff. All the interiors and furniture keep the charm of the heritage building alive.
Awesome location on the top of the mountain at Ranikhet. (Peaceful) Huge space with good atmospheric surrounding. Room interior is as per european style. Better quality food. Friendly staff.
Very engaging resort, this basically for those who want to experience nature and also want a comfortable stay, food was ok, staff was friendly, we were in suite which had heat blower, geyser, TV, hot water bottle. Only things they don't provide are slipper & dental kit. At last as it is an old property you might have some wierd thoughts but I have stayed and enjoyed throughly. Other things: badminton court, play area for kids ( need supervision) and huge parking.

It's an old heritage building. The amenities are basic but nothing fancy or modern but if you are looking for some peace and quiet then this is the place. Food is good. Service is good. Loved to break the monotony of staying in very modern hotels.
Tranquility in Wilderness. The place has aura of British era with solace and peace of wilderness and beauty of nature..Must stay if you are in Ranikhet...
