It's a private cottage often lend on rent for group of tourist. It's a two story house with two Bedrooms, one drawing room and a modular kitchen. The view of snowy peaks in the Dhruv Mountains from upper balcony is awe strucking. The facilities provided by here are good and of all good quality. Cook is available here on demand who made really good breakfast for us. Owner uncle was polite and keen observant for upkeep and facilitated all sort of utilities required. It was a great experience.

Everything was pitch perfect, right from booking enquiry to Mr. Ajay till check-out from the hotel, sorry, home. The hosts, Mr. Ajay and Mr. Harsh were so good, so was the food and the beautiful location. Would definitely recommend if you visit Ranikhet and nearby.
Rooptara valley is a lovely homestay in a perfect location offering everything a family would want from a stay in a mountain location - A perfect view (of the stunning himalayan peaks such as Nanda Devi), spacious rooms and living areas, all the amenities and basic appliances you would expect to use in your own house, a nice lawn to enjoy the weather outdoor and a gracious and helpful host who's always ready to help with any issues and advice in general. We stayed for a month in August 2020, and would love to go back and stay with them again!
We recently visited the home stay and spent 3 nights and had the entire place to ourselves. The hospitality and the food was second to none. Mr Har Singh and the staff went out of their to ensure we had a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The view of the snow clad Himalayas from the balcony of our cottage was breathtaking. The forest trails were nothing short of splendour. This is just the perfect place for travellers and nature lovers who prefer solitude and stunning landscapes
Peaceful stay at Roop tara valley :) I stayed here for a week with my parents. We booked the entire cottage Location is beautiful and peaceful :) The owner harsh singhji is a very kind hearted person. Food was amazing.. we never felt that we were away from home as the food was just like we get to eat at home :) Definitely recommend roop tara valley as its a home away from home :) The cottage has all the facilities too
Location is great though bit outskirt. Food served was superb too. We got an extra heater on request without any issues. A good place to stay.
Visited last month it's calm and quite place. You will get homely feeling. Owner is too good and cooperative. Peaceful place! Weather is very good Food was like home cooked and very hygienic and tasty. Home like facility available. Beautifully made at a perfect location where you can enjoy the quality time. Definitely recommended
What a place to stay in Ranikhet? No one word can explain our experience at this home stay. Kudos to the mesmerising views from the cottage, internal beauty of the people at the property and beautifully arranged services at the property. The one day and one night stay made our moments most memorable for the lifetime. We hanged on in camp fire, executed jungle visit at the property. Highly recommended for personal stay or gift to our dear ones. Thanks Savita ji and team for homely dealings.
