Rangers Chicken Express

Sticks out like a sore thumb in Winchmore Hill. Shabby decor (looks unhygienic) & is either empty or attracts a rough crowd to the area. As it serves chicken, would not recommend, particularly not to children or seniors.

I wondered why this place is always empty until My Daughter had chicken and chips!! The food tastes like it has been hanging around for a long time.1 star for cola.

Used to go here when I was a kid all the time and was very much the go to takeaway for the family. After 8 years overseas I'm so happy to see that they are still in business (when 90% of food outlets in winchmore hill don't survive) and that their food is as delicious as ever! It's definitely not fancy but it's super tasty, cheap and fresh. Here's to another 20 years!

For me, Rangers chicken express has been a home away from home for the best part of about 20 years, the food is always fresh, hot and just what you are hungering for, chicken and chips, but for me it has always been accompanied by the best ribs in London and yes I have tried a lot of ribs in a lot of places and trust me when I say nothing comes close, the staff are always polite, helpful and in the opinion of everyone I know who eats there very friendly, often take away has turned into eating in. They even deliver if you just don't have the time to go there yourself. A great little chicken shop, with a huge heart and amazingly cheap prices, well worth a visit. Long may it continue. 5 stars just doesn't seem enough.
