I’ve stayed here before but this may have been the best trip yet. My family rented 2 cabins and we had the most perfect weather week. Plenty of space and easy to social distance and remain respectful of other guests. Made great use of the dock and the picnic tables, hiked, picked wild raspberries, swam in the lake. Amenities were just right and anything I needed was right at hand. Could not have found a better place to safely vacation with family.

This place is beautiful! Just spent a lovely 3 days here. We will definitely be back. The owners are terrific! We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

We stayed for three wonderful days in a cozy clean cabin with a beautiful view. Whether you want to fish or just relax, this is the place to be. Chris and Ralph were friendly hosts who answered any questions we had. They even called us before we got there to advise us of wind direction and wave size so that we could lunch our boat from the best place! We would recommend them to anyone and will be going back! I can't say enough about how much I like this place. I stumbled upon it when looking for a place for the night. Almost immediately I decided I wanted to stay a second night and frankly I want to move in...but 2 days is all I could swing this trip. I stayed in Cabin 6 which could hold a family of 4 (There's a loft and a bedroom for sleeping. I guess in a pinch someone could sleep on the couch/futon). I love my efficient little cabin. There TV, a decent kitchen, a nice bathroom (not too small), a wood stove, kitchen table and flat screen TV in the corner. The property is amazing...all the cabins are up a hill from the lake. There are a few docks, a small beach, a shed for the water toys/boats and what not. On the docks/floating platforms are chase lounges made of wood as well as adirondack chairs, all with cushions. It's great to lounge and look onto one of the nicest lakes in the state and even the country. Never been to Rangeley before this trip but I will be back ASAP! The whole lake is beautiful but I do really like this property as well as it's location (10 minutes or less from Oquossic-which has the sporting museum and a few good restaurants: 45th Parallel and The Ginger Bread House). It's about 10-12 in the other direction of Downtown Rangeley. So many great views, drives, hikes and places to eat. Plan at least 3 nights, more if you can. You could easily spend a few days just enjoying the property and making your own meals. Big fan of Hunter Cove Camp.
