As home to many native animals and plants, it provides a lovely setting for a casual walk, especially for bird enthusiasts or those who prefer a shorter walking distance. Users can walk around the path bordering the inside oval or complete a 1.3 km loop taking in the wetland and sustainability hub. The Randwick Environment Park boardwalk extension is planned as part of the capital works program for the 2018-19 financial year. This new section of boardwalk will link the existing concrete paths at Munda St Reserve and Joongah St, making the loop fully accessible to wheelchair and pram users.

A safe and quiet place for kids.

A great place to go for a walk, especially with the family. Plenty or amazing birds and creatures about. A splendid example of Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub, a rare habitat of which only 1% remains. Worth a visit.
