This is the most wonderful home I have ever visited , my nana is currently living there . She has nothing but praise for the incredible staff , the care and attention she receives not just from the nurses but the Social Workers and her physio is second to none. I have visited many times and I am always greeted with a smile from all of the staff from the receptionists to the catering staff .

Viewed 2 bed and a 3 bedroom apartment, both had great layout's sham the wardrobes where a bit small. Other wise worth visit
Very nice place for independent, assisted - living and dementia residents. It's good for staff in the area of education and training opportunities. High quality care to the residents by loving staff.
My grandmother was cared for in the "Sunflowers" unit here in the last weeks of her life. The care she received was incredible and the staff demonstrated their commitment to providing high quality care to the residents. This was so important to our family as we knew she never wanted to be in a "nursing home". She had access to every therapy and resource that she needed to make her last days comfortable and we as a family felt well supported by the Montefiore staff also.
Montefiore Home is a wonderful aged care facility that caters to the varying needs of independent, assisted-living and dementia-specific residents. It enjoys a great reputation, and is a good employer for staff; especially in the area of education and training opportunities. Rabbi David Rogut OAM tends the spiritual life of the residents at Monte, officiating seder dinners on Pesach and kiddush services every Shabbat. All food served is kosher, prepared impeccably and eaten enthusiastically. The standard of care at Montefiore goes above and beyond, providing clinical excellence and comprehensive emotional support for residents in assisted care, dementia unit and nursing home. Sir Moses Montefiore Jewish Home, simply put, is the best aged care facility in Sydney.
Clearly they dont care about local residents in Randwick - I worry about anyone who lets their family members stay there. Sunday night 8.30pm loud noise out the back and neither the security company (Calamity - good name!) nor the lady on site answering the phone, had a clue what it was, nor cared!
