Good solid bakery with a good range of different baked goods and good coffee. There are moderate prices and some queues depending on what time you get there due to its central location. Bread options are great the pastries are sometimes a lot of filo involved with not so much filling. Great members of staff really helpful and overall great place.

Came here on a really warm day and saw people eating the Acai Bowl which look amazing. So i decide to walk in for lunch with some pastries. They baked their own baked goods which looks and taste amazing.
Love this place. I am a local and have been coming here ever since they first opened but I think they need a reboot and the owner needs to get more involved again because I have found the service pretty disappointing lately. For example, today I paid 40 for two toasted sandwiches, a lemon tart, and coffees and was kept waiting way, way longer than necessary because the staff weren't paying attention and left my food sitting there steaming in the bag. Result: my food was soggy and my time was wasted (I was late for my appointment). This is actually the second time in a row this has happened. I watched my order being processed from start to finish and asked the server "How long has my order just been sitting there?" and she arrogantly replied "we are very busy today so you just have to wait". Actually, I was watching the staff laughing and chatting while I was trying to get their attention. In the end I had to ask them to check for my order otherwise I would have been waiting there for a lot longer. I am certainly prepared to wait as long as it takes during a busy Saturday morning but I am not prepared to be messed about like that for no good reason just because the staff want to be slack and there didn't appear to be anyone in charge who wanted to take responsibility. In case anyone is interested, I was there Saturday morning at about 10:30AM on 27 March. You need to talk to your manager/supervisor because standards are really slipping because I thought you should know.
When you see a place like this constantly full of people you just know they are doing something right. Great coffee, food and baked goods that consistently deliver. So many other places have either closed or aren't able to deliver the type of experience that wants you to go back for more.
I recommend this bakery when you're visiting someone's home to take a box of pastry from here. I like pastry or pastries in a box. Love the black Bake Bar pastry box and almond croissant is so good.
Miss them at Alexandria, so went to check out their new location. Place is bigger, more take home options but I still prefer them at Alexandria (never missed out on their salmon bagels). Breads so is their coffee
Love Bake Bar! I usually get a coffee with a berry scone. I was especially impressed during covid restrictions last year, the place was super busy but the staff handled it all really well.
Good coffee lovely fresh salad and friendly staff good opening hours at the weekend!
