This is the closed Ramsgate office where no payments could be taken, now that the population of Ramsgate is growing it makes sense to remove the local office and put all of the money saved from cuts into refurbishing one central office. Along with the world's longest wait for a phone to be picked up, the inconvenience of travel should deter all but the most determined of residents from making a complaint or requesting a service. The future is online, I vote we outsource this service to India where they will at least pick up the phone.

Thanet Council is ridiculous. I have been contacting Thanet council after paying for my green bin for nearly 2 months. They still have not collected my bin!
