Amanda Thomson

This tutor has a B.Ed (Hons) Degree and over 20yrs of experience from deprived, Inner London schools and Supply Teaching to the private Saint Lawrence College boarding school (3-18yrs). Her honours year focussed on Nursery and Special Needs Children. She tutors mainly 3-11yr olds (Kent Test too) but beyond for special needs children, basics for adults and English as an additional language. She encourages, praises and rewards effort and achievement individually. She builds confidence, independence and self-discipline. She also trains (and after COVID-19 boards) dogs. She has 2 dogs who have achieved their Gold Obedience, Good Citizen, Crufts Awards.
