Would not recommend. Started work Oct 2018 on bathroom extension and eventually finished middle of 2019. Long delays and periods of not working on the property, did not use contractors as discussed and did majority of the work himself. As such the finish is not great. Not sure what happened, Dave seemed nice enough but wasn't interested in our job and communication was poor. Regret using their services. I don't like leaving bad reviews, hence not writing one earlier but the poor finish is a constant reminder of this unnecessarily stressful period. Edit- 06.01.21 Hi Dave, Sounds like this debacle could have been avoided if you had explicitly informed us more funds were required. It may have been well intentioned of you to absorb costs but we could have arranged extra funds to get the job completed closer to the timescale and standard we originally discussed. We left on ok terms as you seem nice enough and I’m a nice guy and was relieved to have the work finished. If you want to discuss this offline drop me a text. Kind regards

i would like to say, County build is a committed and dedicated company, please see our fantastic reviews on the internet, unfortunately, the most recent negative review was a project we undertook, there were many additional items that required urgent attention, ie the existing floor was rotten, the foundations had to be excavated beyond the 1 meter rule, the toilet had to be relocated, the soil pipe then had to be completely diverted externally, unfortunately the client did not have the funds for this, so i solely absorbed this cost. i allowed 230 to install a standard toilet and shower, what they actually ordered was a shower suite that had taken 4 days to install, again at no additional cost to the client. throughout this project, i committed to working right upto christmas eve. i wont say anything negative towards them, as i do blame myself, and one must learn from these experiences and move on. you are very welcome to come along and see our current and previous projects for yourself. regards david sellers
