Wonderful place by the harbour. The food was tasty being well made and if know what to get, you'll be plenty happy with your order. The staff are helpful and friendly in my experience and I'll be visiting this place more often if I get the opportunity to.

We went into A La Turka on a whim for my son's 2nd birthday, and what a treat we had! We had an amazing array of flavours, the presentation was excellent, and the staff were friendly. My only critique was that there seemed to be only 3 waiters, which for a restaurant that size didn't quite seem right - perhaps one or two more would be useful especially as it was busy! Otherwise, an excellent experience!
Nice Turkish restaurant diner on the seafront but pricey as you'd expect. The food was plentiful and great tasting although my lamb shank was flavoured differently to what I was hoping/expecting .. still very nice though. A couple of things let the place down for me apart from overall cost, but by no means a deal breaker: some waiting staff were not very attentive (wrong tea, forgotten cola, ask for 1 knife and get a whole table set), and the toilets were of tasteful decor but a little unclean - separate cubicles so social distancing maintained at least. Parking is a little sparse so you might need to go further afield to somewhere like Albion Place just up the road. Overall, a good place to eat out if you have deeper pockets.
The overall aesthetic in here was lovely. The food was okay. The service poor. Considering the price, which given the location and quality of food, was fair....i would have expected better service. It was like no one working there wanted to be a waiter?!
